Also called the mulga snake, king brown snakes are usually about 1.5m long although they can grow much longer. Dadbe is the name in all Bininj Kunwok dialects. There are important dadbe sacred sites adjacent the Ranger Uranium mine in Jabiru at Djidbidjidbi and for Rembarrnga people near Malnjangarnak in central Arnhem Land.
