coal grunter

"Characteristic colour pattern of golden speckles and bands on a dark grey to brown background is unique. Young specimens have several reddish or orange patches along the back, which are expecially noticeable atop the caudal peduncle. Coal grunters also have fairly large eyes (for grunters), and the caudal fin is truncate to rounded in shape, unlike other grunters which have the caudal margin concave to sightly forked."
