Australian spectacular grasshopper or Leichhardt's grasshopper is brightly coloured blue and orange. It is most visible in kurrung 'build-up' season. It lives almost exclusively on Pityrodia bushes of various species (Pityrodia jamesii, Pityrodia pungens, Pityrodia ternifolia).
